Basel Cathedral is one of the main attractions and a symbol of the Swiss city of Basel. The Minster impressed with its red sandstone and the colorful bricks, its two slender church steeples and the cross-intersecting main roofs the city. The former Episcopal Church, Evangelical Reformed today, was built 1019-1500 in Romanesque and Gothic style. (Source: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basler_M%C3%BCnster)
