Biblioteka Budvanske Citadele

When the day dawns in Budva's old town is plenty to see and visit. City Citadel fortress is on an elevated place, at the top is a summer stage for a memorable scene taking place and views of the town theater. Citadel, dating back to the V - IV v.p.n.e. At the highest point of a medieval tower and next to it is visible foundation of the church Sv. Mary by which all the fortress - castle - named "Castel St. Mary ". Walk the walls of Budva will offer views of Old Town and the environment from a special angle. In the southeastern part, including the Citadel, on the surface a small area, there is rarely a valuable complex of six churches from different periods of history. Between the Citadel and the Church of Sv. Ivana are the monumental remains of early Christian three-nave basilica. Sv. Maria in Punta is the oldest building dating back to the precise, built 840.g. Church of Sv. Trinity built 1804.g. in front of the church is the grave of famous writer and diplomat Stephen Mitrov Ljubisa, who represented this area in the Austrian Parliament in Vienna.
