This 19th century smock mill is privately owned at the moment and, unfortunately, it is not possible to get much closer. This might actually be a good thing, as I think the location I picked gives a nice overview of both the mill and the valley in which you can just see the roofs of beautiful Turville. Both the mill and the village of Turville have been host to episodes of a large number of TV programmes and films, including: Little Britain, Midsommer Murders, The Day of the Triffids (2009), Bride and Prejudice and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
