My take on the famed pyramid of Chichen Itza.Dedicated to the feathered-serpent god of Kukulkan in the Post Classic Period , the most dominating structure at Chichen Itza measures only a miserly 24 m in height, compared to some of the giants from Tikal which stand at 40 m plus.It pays to visit early so as to avoid the crowds and I certainly made it there before everyone else did.
