Panorama taken at the parking by the bottom station of Titlis in Engelberg, Switzerland. Mount Titlis is a 3,238m high mountain in Central Switzerland that can be visited throughout the year - in summer, visiting the gletscher offers a great opportunity to be amongst snow while it is summer outside. In winter, it is a good destination for skiing.
This panorama was taken at the bottom of the lift, which you can see in the photo on the left hand side of the lift building. You can also see the beautiful surrounding mountains and river running through Engelberg. From this location, it takes three cable lifts to take you from 1,000m to the 3,238m gletscher. At the time we took this photo, we had beautiful clear weather. By the time we reached the top, it was overcast.
Who said a parking lot cannot provide some beautiful views?
