Ферапонтов-Белозерский монастырь - уникальный памятник истории, архитектуры и стенописи XIV–XX вв., дошедший до наших дней в архитектурном комплексе XV–XVII вв. Монастырь был основан преподобным Ферапонтом в 1398 г.
Расположен в 18 км от г. Кириллова, между озерами Паским и Бородаевским. Архитектура монастыря уникальна тем, что это пожалуй, единственный в стране комплекс древних построек дониконовского времени.
