It is located 3 km north of Karadedeli Neighborhood, which is 14 km to the east of Silifke. The remains found in the settlement date back to the Late Roman and Early Byzantine Periods. Yet, the settlement was originally founded during the Hellenistic Period. Three different types of Byzantine Houses can be seen together in the archeological site. These types include the house with peristyle court, two-storey mansion, and the simple house. Pavement stones and remains of workshops can also be viewed among the remains in the site. There stands a columnar church with three naves from the Early Byzantine Period on the southern part of the settlement.
