Le Lac Noir ou Aguelmim Aberkane est situé à environ 1260m d’altitude dans le massif de l’Akfadou et s’étend jusqu’à une dizaine d’hectares. Aux abords du lac, un merveilleux arboretum datant de 1890 compose harmonieusement plusieurs espèces de conifères. Les chênes zéen, afarès et le cèdre de l’Atlas y abondent.
