Ainda que a fachada principal tenha sido reconstruida durante o século XVIII, o portal axial manteve a sua estética manuelina. Nessa altura o portal romanico original foi reconstruido na torre sul.

Porta de carvalho com almofadas chapeada a latão fingindo caras de leões, construida entre 1694-95 pelo carpinteiro Simão Antonio da Maia
