The Cottonwood Wash Narrows is a short slot canyon along the Cottonwood Wash road in southern Utah. The Narrows here were carved by an ancient river that ultimately had its headwaters "stolen" by the Paria river to the east. Afterward, this canyon dried up and the Paria cut its own canyon to the east.
