Piazza Duomo
Milan
The Piazza del Duomo is the famous main square of Milan in Italy, was designed by Giuseppe Mengoni and construction began in 1876. Here stay the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the Royal Palace (Palazzo Reale) and the Milan Cathedral (Duomo), a true work of art in its facade represents all the styles that arose during its construction: the baroque, neoclassical and Gothic. It is dedicated to Santa Maria Nascente and was started in 1386 and took 500 years to complete.
