The Larcher Cavedale Alpine lodge is located in Val Venezia in front of the “La Mare Glacier”, Cavedale peaks, Zufall, Palon de la Mare, and Viòz.
Our Alpine lodge was built for the first time in 1882. Its name comes from the well-known senator, Guido Larcher, who was the president of the SAT (the association of Trentino's mountaineers) for seventeen years from 1902 to 1917.
The scenic view that our lodge offers is of the Stelvio National Park with its unique flora and fauna representative of the pristine environment of high mountains.
Over the years the lodge has been repeatedly modernized and in the summer of 2009 it was completely renovated. Our facility has a modern heating system that allows for its opening from March to April for the ski mountaineering season.
