In Sardinia, about 35 km from Cagliari, Pranu Sanguni places in the town of San Basilio, is being completed a grand scientific equipment, called SRT (Sardinia Radio Telescope). This is a radio telescope with a diameter of 64 m, the modern concept, designed for applications for Radio Astronomy, Geodynamics and Space Sciences, which is configured as a facility of the highest international profile.
