Stirling Castle - Nether Bailey
Scotland
Stirling Castle – mostly built in the 15th and 16 century - is the largest castle in Scotland. Quite a few Scottish kings and queens have been crowned here. And many of them used the castle as their palace. The castle also played in important role in the Wars of Scottish Independence. The Nether Bailey is a heavily fortified area containing among a gunpowder store and a modern times tapestry studio.
