Located in the Gupoliao mountains in Dashu Distric, the Old House of the Jhuang is of classical architecture style residential housing called Si He Yuan, literally quadrangle dwellings. The sense of returning to the Qing dynasty surfaces while standing inside the house. Discovery to traditional virtues of hard-working, thrifty, and honest hides in the details of building design. The almost a-hundred-year house was shaped in rectangular, with 7 halls and 3 rooms in classical Si He Yuan style of "seven halls encircle three rooms" architecture which is rarely seen in Taiwan.
