There are very few female drivers in Jakarta, two that I know of driving private cars and a few drive taxis. Our driver used to race motorbikes, until she had an accident, so now she races around the city with my family. Jakarta is notorious for its traffic and it can take an hour or more to drive from my house to the centre of the city, which is only 15kms away.
