Wasserburg Anholt - Nachtaufnahme Langzeitbelichtung
Muensterland-Baumberge

Die Burg Anholt war namensgebend für die ehemalige Stadt Anholt, heute ein Stadtteil von Isselburg in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Die Anlage ist eines der größten Wasserschlösser des Münsterlandes[1] und befindet sich an der Grenze zum Niederrhein. Ihre Ursprünge liegen in einem Wehrbau aus dem 12. Jahrhundert zur Sicherung des Besitzes der Diözese Utrecht. Auch wenn der Name nahe legt, Anholt sei eine Burg, handelt es sich eigentlich um ein Schloss. Quelle: Wikipedia

The Münsterland is a region in northern North Rhine-Westphalia and in the northwestern with the city of Münster as a  Westphalia center. It can vary depending on the context, narrow, forming a rough framework of the Teutoburg Forest in the northeast, the lip in the south and the Dutch border in the west.As a historical region of the Münsterland is in the tradition of the Bishopric of Münster, temporal dominion of the former Bishop of Munster.
