Open Air Museum Bobrka
Poland

Mine Bóbrka oil, now the Museum of Oil and Gas Industry. Was opened  by Ignacy Lukasiewicz in 1854 and still operating. It is located near Krosno.

It was the first mine in the world in which producing oil.

In the years 1854-1880 there were over 60 manually dug wells, at depths ranging from a few to 150 meters. Frank and Janina were created around 1860. Frank was about 50 meters deep and excavated later Janina - 132 meters deep. Frank is oldest and still working Oil well.
