Possibly the most famous music venue in the world, the Cavern Club on Mathew Street, Liverpool. This is the place where a record store owner (Brian Epstein) saw/heard four young Liverpool lads (one named Pete Best) play in the early sixties, he became their manager and, as the saying goes, the rest is history. Almost everyone has heard of John, Paul, George and Ringo. This panorama shows the wall opposite the Cavern Club, which has the names of the musicians who have played this venue cut into the bricks.
