Despite the Earthquake of 2011 is a beauty among the cities of New Zealand. The strong determination of the people of Christchurch to rebuild their city is admirable. Christchurch Botanic Gardens were founded in 1863. The fernery shows a fine display of a wide variety of native New Zealand ferns. It is a must for every fern fan.
