Die gläubigen Besucher finden die Herzmitte des Münsters im „finsteren Chörle" (in der nördlichen Turmkapelle). Dort wird über einem Meer von Opferkerzen das Nägelinkreuz verehrt. Dieses Villinger Heiltum war ehemals das Gnadenbild der Bickenkapelle am Bahnhof. Die Kapelle wurde im Krieg zerstört und das hochverehrte Kreuz hat jetzt seine bleibende Heimat im Münster.
