Kilkenny (Cill Chainnigh) is the county town of County Kilkenny. The River Nore runs through Kilkenny. Kilkenny is a lively and popular tourist destination. Based in what was once the stables of historic Kilkenny Castle, the Kilkenny Design Centre is located adjacent to the National Craft Gallery.
