The Lakatnik Rocks are located in Bulgaria on the Iskar Gorge passing though the Balkan Mountains. At some places they reach heights of 250 m. The rocks consist of limestones and sandstones with many karst formations. There are many caves in the area. Tehe Lakatnik Rocks are also one of the most popular places for rock climbing in Bulgaria.
