位於北海岸石門鄉的老梅綠石槽海岸，為全台唯一特殊景觀，美不勝收。「綠石槽」形成的原因，是由於幾萬年前大屯火山爆發後，遺留海岸邊的火山礁岩在波浪長期的沖刷下，質地鬆軟的部份被侵蝕，留下較堅硬的部份而形成溝槽，每年冬天北部東北季風一起，濤天的浪花滋潤了石槽的岩面，也開始滋生綠色的石蓴、海髮絲等海藻，因此形成令人驚嘆不已的「綠石槽」海岸景觀，每年都會吸引了無數攝影愛好者駐足拍攝，惟此美景每年只出現在4、5月，錯過只有再等來年。
