Marine Gate, also known as Sea Gate and St. Catherine's Gate, is one of 11 gates surrounding the medieval walled city of Rhodes. It was completed in 1478 by Grand Master Pierre d'Aubusson to defend against Ottoman attacks. The relief above the entrance depicts the Virgin Mary, Saint John and Saint Peter.
