The landmark and museum opened on May 25, 2010, marking the 10th anniversary of the liberation of the Israeli occupation of southern Lebanon in 2000. The inauguration was attended by representatives of the president and prime minister of Lebanon.Officially endorsed by the Ministry of tourism. (a free public attraction)
