View from the summit of Notch Peak (elev. 9,659') in the House Range west of Delta, Utah. Rising some 4,450' above the Tule Valley, the north face of the peak is comprised of limestone & is the highest carbonate rock cliff face in North America. In the United States, it's 2,200' straight drop makes it the second highest pure vertical drop after Yosemite's El Capitan. From here one can see Sawtooth Mountain across the way as well as Wheeler Peak & the Tule Valley to the west. To the east is the Sevier Desert & Sevier Lake.
