Perast is old town in Bay of Kotor. It is situated at the foot of St. Elijah Hill (873 m), opposite the narrow Verige strait, where the innermost bays of Risan and Kotor converge. Near Perast there are two small islands: one is called St. George island, and the other called Gospa od Skrpljela, and each has a picturesque chapel.
