红军造币厂：
1928年4月下旬，朱德、毛泽东两军在井冈山会师后，部队不断壮大。而湘赣两省敌军对井冈山革命根据地，也实行频繁的军事“围剿”和严密的经济封锁，根据地军民面临着严重的给养困难。1928年5月，在王佐的建议和推荐下，运用谢氏花边厂的铸造技术，请谢火龙、谢宫龙谢氏兄弟为师傅，在井冈山的上井村，借用农民邹甲贵的民房，创办了井冈山红军造币厂。
红军造币厂沿用“墨西哥”版别铸造了第一批银元，并在每块银元上，凿上了“工”字印记，称为“工”字银元。它是中国红色政权最早在革命根据地内发行流通的第一批金属铸币。
