Spanning the gap between two major thoroughfares wiggling through Neuchâtel is the Rlle William-Mayor tunnel, directly under the Parc du Chateau. An interesting view from the north end of the tunnel, looking south, it almost appears as if the cars are driving right into Lac de Neuchâtel (lake Neuchâtel). The tunnel is approximately 220m in length and when in the middle your eyes will adjust to the darkness and the tunnel-ends will seem very bright, much like the pano.
