At the hill above Loznica called "Sanac", which means Trench, stands monument to famous Serbian general and field marshal Stepa Stepanovic. General Stepa Stepanovic led Serbian Second Army in famous Battle of Cer which was one of the first battles of World War I, and also marked as the first Allied victory in the war. View from this hill gives the picture of whole Loznica and even picture of western Bosnia across the Drina river.
