Since 1958 the Southern Pacific Train Engine No. 2355 has been in Pioneer Park, Mesa, Arizona. In the early days, children could climb and play all over the engine, but in recent years it has fallen on hard times and is now locked up in high fenced enclosure. Pioneer Park is located almost in the center of the old section of downtown Mesa across the street from Mesa, Arizona Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
