The heathenish Church is located high up the mountains next to the Mooserboden dam of the hydro-power plants Kaprun. The monument is dedicated to all the 161 engineers, workers and prisoners-of-war that died during the construction of the hydro power stations. The 14 meter tall monument represents the protective coat of Saint Barbara, within is a split stone with a narrow gab. Legend has it that any man who can squeeze through the narrow gab is freed from sins and sickness.
