The "sunshine route" from Fredonia to the Toroweap overlook on the north rim of the Grand Canyon is a well-graded dirt road through miles and miles of Pinyon Juniper woodland. I took this pano along Mt Trumbull Rd at the top of a hill sloping towards the north to capture a view of what the area looks like. The weather was dry and the road in good shape, so we mostly zoomed through at 40-50 mph to get to Toroweap overlook, but stopping and looking at what was blooming (in October!) and to take in the silence was wonderful as well.
