Vasant Square Mall somehow represents the current phase of India attempts to New initiative and lost Opportunities. Coming up almost a decade back, this Mall was to reshape how the people of Vasant Kunj shopped. Traditional older Market just opposite feared loss of business. The developers sold it to anyone who paid the amount and most of the Shops were purchased by Property Brokers in anticipation of Premium Resale Later. However as a Good Mix of Shop never came up and those which did closed due to arbitrary high rents and low footfalls. This Mall is just a Colorful attractive Facade with a Flop Market Success. We had setup to shoot within the premises but The Security Guards were prompt to ask if we had permission to shoot on "there property". Well said. We moved out and got the Pano from Raw Ground. I would love to revisit this site to see if Raw Ground still Exists next to this New Age Mall..
