A memorial to Ohio's Civil War era poet laureate, on the banks of the Cuyahoga between the railroad and Cleveland's newest lift bridge on Columbus Road.
From this spot you can see the Cleveland Aquarium complex, a few ruins of he Ohio-Erie canal, and a grand old bascule bridge, perhaps the only one on the Flats.
The private deck at Catanese Classic Seafood overlooks the Cuyahoga River and the Center Street drawbridge. High overhead the Detroit Avenue viaduct carries downtown Cleveland traffic across the Flats.
