On china peak this is the highest point at 8600 feet, the peak houses a forest department & a wireless repeater station which is solar powered with backup batteries.This is the entrance to the area where an over 300 years old a grand deodar tree welcomes you, the site of the himalayas is enchanting.

On the left you see a forest department hut which doubles as a resturant & shelter for the treckers when stranded due to bad weather.
