台灣的瀑布大部份存在於深山之中，接近平原地區的瀑布是相當珍貴的，而在燕巢區東燕里東南方，因位於236公尺高的「崎嵧山」山腳而得名的「崎溜瀑布」，正是座相當接近平原地區的瀑布。崎溜瀑布高約60公尺，瀑布線中有一石龜，下方為一圓潭，冬季乾旱時只餘涓滴細流，夏日水勢則盛如奔馬，是過往崎溜庄居民飲用水的水源地。
