Duisburg Friedrich Ebert Bridge

The Friedrich-Ebert-Bridge and the Bridge Towers appear in many episodes of "Tatort Duisburg, a german criminal sequel. The towers (Design by Prof. Hermann Billing, Karlsruhe) flank the Rhine bridge that was built by the city of Ruhrort and the community of Homberg over the years 1904 until 1907. The bridge was blown up in 1945 and rebuilt in in a new form from 1951 - 1954.

Friedrich-Ebert-Brücke und Brückentürme kommen in vielen "Tatort-Duisburg"-Episoden vor. Die Türme (Entwurf Prof. Hermann Billing, Karlsruhe) flankieren die Rheinbrücke, die die Stadt Ruhrort und die Gemeinde Homberg in den Jahren 1904 bis 1907 erbauen ließen. Die Brücke wurde 1945 gesprengt und von 1951 - 1954 in neuer Form wieder errichtet.

De Tatort Duisburg - een Duitse misdaadserie, die ook in Nederland heel gelieft was. De Friedrich-Ebert-Brug en de brugtorens zijn in een aantal van episodes te zien. De torens (ontwerp van prof. Billings, Karlsuhe) flankeren de rijnbrug, die van de stad Ruhrort en de gemeente Homberg in de jaren 1904  tot 1907 opgebouwt worden was. Later was de brug in 1945 opgeblazen en van 1951 tot 1954 in nieuwe form opniew heropgebouwt.
