Plac Krakowski (Krakowski Square) in Gliwice viewed from the north. Nearby the place where the photo was taken there are two buildings of the Silesian University of Technology - the Faculty of Chemistry with a characteristic tower (due to the itensive colour of the bricks it is called "The Red Chemistry" - "Czerwona Chemia") and across the way, the recently renovated building of the Faculty of Architecture (it is an additional building of this faculty, former there was located Cinema and Theater "X"). On the opposite side you can see the building of the Faculty of Minery and Geology and a high block of flats, not belonging to the university.
