La Moneda, is a historic building in Chile in the Italian neoclassical style, declared a World Heritage Site, it was designed by the architect Joaquín Toesca.
The palace was originally designed to house the Casa de Moneda, which was in charge of printing banknotes and minting coins in the Chilean colonial era, it is currently the seat of the president of the Republic of Chile, located in the civic neighborhood of the city From Santiago, the building also houses the General Secretariat of the Presidency and the General Secretariat of Government.
