This picture was taken just off the South Locheynort road , South Uist .

The mountain seen from here to the north is Ben More (Beinn Mhor) . The name translates as "big Mountain" and at 620m , is the highest point on South Uist .

The views from the top of Ben More are stunning with Barra easily seen to the south
