Cemetery Obelisk at the Manzanar cemetery memorialize the 150 internees who died her and all the Japanese Americans that where interned by their own government. The monument's Kanji characters read "Soul Consoling Tower" on the front and "Erected by the Manzanar Japanese, August 1943" on the back.
