So-named due to its construction (built from mill-stones, or 'aguzaderas'), Castillo Las Aguzaderas is a beautiful 13th century castle which was awarded National Monument status as far back as 1923. It's rarely visited despite its location halfway between the busy tourist centres of Ronda and Seville. It's left open all the time, and if you brave the hazardous stone staircase you can enjoy the fantastic views from the top of the tower. Pouring boiling oil on other tourists below is frowned upon!
