美濃窯座落於靈山山麓下，緊鄰著美濃開基伯公，由朱邦雄博士創辦。朱博士於1987年歸鄉推展陶藝事業，並催生了「陶壁公共藝術」一詞，因此美濃窯可說是陶壁公共藝術的代名詞。朱博士的作品除了大型的陶壁公共藝術，也包括小型陶壁藝術。美濃窯為開放式的藝術空間，提供國內外民眾觀賞藝術家創作大型陶壁藝術雕塑的過程與討論藝術內涵的機會。
