"Piazza Cordusio", Cordusio Square, is named after the latin Curtis Ducis, court of the Milan Duchy. Very close to the Duomo, still today it is a central place in the city's financial district. In the Square there is the monument to Giuseppe Parini, one of the most important poets in the Italian Enlightenment and Neoclassic period.
