When access to the staircase stands a Late Baroque crucifix.

The high altar from 1729 is shaped by the miraculous image. The side altars are from 1774 and show works of Joseph Bergler the Younger. The nave carries the so-called Emperor traffic light, a goldsmith of Augsburgers Lukas Lang. Emperor Leopold I. donated it in 1676 on the occasion of his wedding in Passau. In the sacristy is the treasury of the pilgrimage. Capuchin took the pilgrimage pastoral.

More About Bavaria

The “Free State of Bavaria” is renowned for being culturally unique and for the emphasis which it places on preserving its heritage and traditions. It is also extraordinarily beautiful, boasting a plethora of castles, palaces, cathedrals, abbeys and monasteries not to mention spectacular scenery. Bavaria is more than Alps, men in “lederhosen” (leather pants), women in “dirndl” (traditional dresses) and frothy glasses of beer by the “maβ” (liter).
