The fortified enclosire guarded by Prison Tower is accessed by the so-called Forana gate. Wall, gate and tower date back to the sixteenth century, but there was probably a wall before relating to the Mora Tower. Access was trough an "elbow", which prevented a frontal attack and showed the missiles launched from the Prison Tower. Its name comes from the blind floor at the bottom, used as a dungeon.
