林園汕尾漁港，位於高屏溪出海口北端，與東港相對，以捕鰻苗為主。鰻苗有「白金」的美稱，可見其經濟價值不菲，更是許多美食家的最愛。汕尾港的出海口有個爐濟殿公園，可以觀看高屏溪水匯流入海的景象。這裡只有簡單的小型漁船和動力筏，坐看汕尾歸舟的美景，是一大享受。極目望去，更可以遙望東港小鎮，甚至遠眺小琉球嶼，有天空地寬之感。
