甲仙小林村紀念公園位於小林村原址南側的高地，結合文化歷史、生態景觀，由此可以看到小林村的舊址。紀念公園占地約1.7公頃，園裡有追思廣場、小林公祠、苦路、眺望樓台、沈思橋與紀念碑等。高達9公尺的紀念碑，位於追思廣場，是由風災中順流而下的石塊堆砌成圓錐形。另外，新種了181棵台灣原生種的山櫻花樹苗，象徵小林村的浴火重生，展現新生命。
